Modules of powder fire extinguishing «Buran-15 Explosion Proof Mine» are intended for protection of explosive buildings, structures and premises.
The «Buran-15 Explosion Proof Mine» module is marked with Exdl X / 1ExdllBT3 X explosion protection, in accordance with GOST 30852.0.
There are four modifications of the «Buran-15 Explosion Proof Mine» module:
- «Buran-15U Explosion Proof Mine» — impulse dry powder module, universal, ceiling mount for rooms with a ceiling height of 3,5 to 6,0 m.
- «Buran-15ST Explosion Proof Mine» — short-term action dry powder module, ceiling mount with installation height from 3,5 m to 6,0 m. The fire extinguishing powder is supplied through a guide pipe with sprayers to protect different compartments, cable ducts or the like.
- «Buran-15ST10 Explosion Proof Mine» — short-term action dry powder module, ceiling mount with installation height from 6,0 m to 14,0 m.
- «Buran-15STW Explosion Proof Mine» — short-term action dry powder module. The module has a wall mount with installation height from 1,5 m to 2,5 m.
Modules can be used in mines (mines) and their land structures dangerous for mine gas (methane), as well as in rooms and outdoor installations in hazardous areas of classes 1 and 2 in accordance with GOST 30852.9, in which explosive mixtures of categories llA and llB can be formed according to GOST 30852.11 with an autoignition temperature of more than 200ºC (groups of explosive mixtures T1, T2, T3 in accordance with GOST 30852.5).
