The Buran-100KD-ESG powder fire extinguishing installation is a set of two Buran-50KD powder fire extinguishing modules (U1) with ESG-0.5 electric igniters, placed on a special stand and intended for localization and extinguishing fires of class A, B, C, as well as fires arising in electrical equipment under voltage up to 1000 V.
The installation is used as an actuator in automatic fire extinguishing installations and belongs to the class of stationary fire extinguishers, does not contain ozone-depleting substances.
The unit is not designed to extinguish the fires of alkali and alkaline earth metals, as well as substances whose combustion can occur without air access.
Climatic modification — U1 according to GOST 15150-69 for ambient temperature from minus 50ºC to plus 95ºC at relative humidity up to 98%.
The primary field of application is the technical premises of large areas and volumes in industrial and residential buildings, warehouses for various purposes, transformer substations of closed and open types, open storage and production sites.

REQUIREMENTS TO PIPELINES
- Diameter of the conduit passage of the extinguishing powder feeding pipe: 25 mm.
- The length of the pipeline in the horizontal direction is no more than 30 m.
- The lifting of the pipeline from the base of the shell in the vertical direction is no more than 6 m.
