Fine-sprayed water modules «Buran-15FSW» of various modifications (hereinafter modules) are intended for use in automatic fire extinguishing installations with fine dust used for extinguishing fires of the class A, B, and fires occurring in electrical equipment that is under voltage up to 1000V.
Separately, the modules, complete with remote start devices, can be used as stand-alone units for extinguishing local fires in small rooms.
Modules are not designed to extinguish fires and fires of alkali and alkaline earth metals, magnesium and their alloys, as well as other materials, the combustion of which can occur without access to air, or materials reacting with water, accompanied by an explosion.
The modules are manufactured in the climatic version «U» of installation category 2 in accordance with GOST 15150, at the same time storage conditions are provided at ambient temperature from minus 40 °С to plus 50 °С and operation at ambient temperature from minus 40 °С to plus 95 °C.
The module is the main element of fire extinguishing systems.
The module belongs to the class of stationary fire extinguishers, and does not contain ozone-depleting substances.
The extinguishing agent of the module is an aqueous solution of potassium acetate.
Modules «Buran-15FSW» are issued in six modifications, which mean:
- «Buran-15FSW4» — ceiling mounting module, with built-in sprayer, module installation height up to 4 m;
- «Buran-15FSW6″ — module of ceiling mounting with built-in sprayer, installation height of the module up to 6 m;
- «Buran-15FSWT4″ — ceiling mounting module, with output from the module for piping and sprayer with installation height up to 3.5 m;
- «Buran-15FSWT6″ — ceiling mounting module, with a terminal from the module for piping and a sprayer with an installation height of up to 5.5 m;
- «Buran-15FSWTW4″ — module for wall mounting, with output from the module for piping and sprayer with installation height up to 3.5 m;
- «Buran-15FSWTW6″ — module for wall mounting, with a terminal from the module for piping and a sprayer with a height of installation up to 5.5 m.
